Travel outfit
Am Mittwoch haben wir uns einen ganztägigen Ausflug nach Koblenz gemacht. Ich mag die Stadt . Sie is t viel schöner, ruhiger als Bonn und man kann dort sehr toll einkaufen und lecker essen gehen. Es war sehr warm und ich konnte meine am Tag zuvor gekaufte Hose ausprobieren. Sie ist aus einem sehr leichtem Stoff wodurch man sie kaum auf der Haut spürt, was sie zu einem perfekten Begleiter für sehr heiße Tage macht. Ich bin noch am überlegen ob ich nicht eine zweite kaufen sollte bevor meine Größe aus den Läden verschwindet. Ich habe sie noch in schwarz und denke, dass die beiden meine Lieblingshosen diesen Sommer werden.

W środę pojechaliśmy na całodniową wycieczkę do Koblenz. Lubię to miasto. Jest o wiele ładniejsze i spok ojniejsz e niż Bonn. Przyjemniej robi się tu zakupy i jest większy wybór restauracji, czy kawiarni. Tego dnia było bardzo gorąco i mogłam wypróbować nowe spodnie, które kupiłam poprzedniego dnia. Są z bardzo cienkiego materiału przez co niemal nie czuje się ich na nogach. Rozważam, czy nie byłoby dobrze kupić sobie jeszcze jednej pary, zanim mój rozmiar zniknie ze sklepów. Mam je jeszcze w kolorze czarnym i myślę, że obie pary będą moimi ulubieńcami tego lata.

On Wednesday we made an all-day-trip to Koblenz. I like that city. It is more beautiful and peaceful than Bonn and it gives more opportunities to shop o r eat. I t was very hot that day so I could test my new pants bought the day before. The fabric is very light and I hardly felt them on my skin. I am thinking about getting a second pair before my size disappears from the stores. I have them in black too and I thing both pairs will by my favourite pants this summer.

Mood Board, Home Office Redesign

My home office has gone through a few transformations over the last few years. At first, it was an office with hodge-podge left overs but it worked...and I worked in it. Then I changed my work situation a b it and w orking out of my midtown office three days a week prompted me to turn the space into an office/closet combo. This. Was. A. Disaster.
As a blogger there's a constant influx of clothes and product and my "office" was becoming more of a catch all. I needed to make a change, a big one! I need a place where I can work - both PR and blog and a creative space because I love making things. I've just about finished redesigning my living room and it's time to tackle the madness.
The first thing I've done is figured out what I want this room to look and feel like. I work best when I'm in a clutter free space that is aesthetically pleasing, obvi...and I knew that I wanted a fairly neutral roo m. Check out my palette! It's a smokey cream that in certain light looks like a lovely blush color, mocha brown, white and grey. I'm also looking to mix metals with chrome and sprinkles of gold.
Safavieh Home has SO many options but the foundation of an office is the desk so, I started there. On the above inspiration board you can see the desk I chose. I wanted a good amount of work space and my boyfriend often works here so I opted for two smaller desks that will face each other rather than one grand supersize desk. I'm well on my way! I can't wait to share the completed room with you all soon!

Happy Monday!
Over the past couple of days the mild, pleasant days of Spring have been replaced by mid-July temperatures. When it’s hot and humid outside, the last thing I want to do is cover up.  Going sleeveless can be a very scary thing. For years I wouldn’t show my arms because I they were the size of Christmas hams but after one particularly hot Summer, I decided to abandon my fear of going sleeveless. Now don’t get me wrong I still have issues with my arms but my comfort level in the sultry heat trumps caring about what others might  think.
A sleeveless vest was high on my “must have” list  because I can wear it strapless dresses.  Finding a strapless bra in my cup size has been challenging to say the least, so this vest is a blessing!

Casual Friday: Breezy Palms
TGIF all!
Lately I’ve been embracing printed skirts in effort to move away from stripes. Now don’t get me wrong I LOVE stripes but I was becoming too complacent.  So when I saw the fabulous Mo from  Lion Hunter  rock this lovely palm print skirt, I knew I had to have it but  there was only one issue…her skirt was handmade! Awww man!  Just when my palm print dreams were about to be dashed, the lovely Mo decided to add the skirt to her Etsy store The TUTU Experience! Needless to say, this skirt will be in heavy rotation for the rest of this Spring and all Summer long!
