“Ashley Stewart debuts their Love Your Curves Tour in the city of Atlanta January 15-17, 2015. Loving your curves is all about female empowerment, embracing positivity, and being proud of who you are and how you look.”

This is NOT just a weekend of fashion but also in celebration of the Martin Luther King holiday!  Ashley Stewart will be giving a $10,000 donation to two deserving students from Oakwood University and Spellman College in honor of Martin Luther King’s dedication to education and to further his legacy with a new generation. How cool is this?

Thursday Jan 15^th at 7pm-9pm: Model Search with Special Guest Judges including ME and musical artist Yung Joc!  at Ashley Stewart’s Camp Creek location: 3755 Carmia Drive Eastpoint, GA 30344!

Friday Jan 16^th from 6pm-9pm: Girls’ Night Out Sip & Shop â€" Styling, giveaways and refreshments provided at Ashley Stewart’s Greenbriar Mall location: 2841 Greenbriar Parkway Atlanta, GA 30381

Saturday Jan 17^th from 2pm-4pm: Love Your Curves Fashion Show & UNCF Donation Event with special appearance from Deb Antney from Love and Hip Hop at Ashley Stewart’s Stonecrest Mall location: 2929 Turner Hill Road Lithonia, GA 30038

Representatives from UNCF, Spellman College and Oakwood University will be receiving donations and State Representative Mable Thomas will present proclamation in recognition of Ashley Stewart’s philanthropic efforts! BE100 radio will be there as well!

It truly is a celebration of curves!

Happy Monday all!

I can’t believe it’s already the 3rd anniversary of the blog! From winning a Redbook Real Women Style award to working with amazing plus brands such as Eloquii and Lane Bryant, this past year of blogging so far has been my most satisfying.  Blogging continues to help me grow as a person and helps me to learn new things about myself. Participating in the 30 Plus Style Collaboration with fellow bloggers I deeply admire helped me to further step outside my comfort zone and try new trends (Yep, I wore a crop top!). It was wonderful to be apart of group of women over 30 (a group that is often ignored by plus brands) proving style has no age or size.

Another highlight has been the friendships I’ve developed over the year. I’ve been lucky to make lasting connections with intelligent women who are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Prior to blogging it was hard for me to make new friends due to my shyness. Through blogging and attending various events, I’ve been able to overcome my shyness. Now when I enter a room of unfamiliar faces, I’m no longer afraid to walk up to people and introduce myself.

Of course none of these accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the BEST readers in the world! Thank you SO much for all your love and support this past year!

Life's lesson is always the hardest to learn. Just when you thought you have survive the greatest hurt in your life. Life comes back haunting you with another lesson. I asked myself why is this happening to me. Did I deserve all this? Why did I believe so easily? Was it all a dream? It would be easier to believe it was all a dream and nothing was real. My question, why did you do all that, make me believe it was real and then leave me in tears.

I know it has been an emotional ride this year for me. Readers, you have not seen me open up myself so much about my life, though still vaguely indescribable I am beginning to be more human than ever. This song - Sia Chandelier, is dedicated to all the women who has been hurt through one way or another. Let the hurt go, be strong, dance all your might and leave it all behind.

After all life's lessons are the most hardest. If you survive it, you will survive anything. Including yourself. Merry Christmas.

If you have been following my instagram and facebook, you'll know that I have been talking about the Collection LookBook Contest 24th Sept - 22nd Oct, 2014 which me myself has also joined in the fun of putting on make-up coupling with our own fashion style. I seriously had so much fun in this contest, dressing up and doing my make-up according to the different themes set out for each contest week. Unfortunately I did not win *sob sob* but these young, fun girls did and they all look perfect for the themes they won! Super excited to share who are the winners *drum rolls* ....

What did they win? RM800 worth of makeup products by Collection Cosmetics and wardrobe by F Block Boutique Stores, a Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone worth RM800 and a chance to be featured in a fashion look book plus attend the Collection LookBook party at WhiteBox, Publika. The party had photo-booths of each weekly theme ready for guests to pose and snap a picture to upload to instagram to win prizes. The best was the Rocker Chic photo-booth where an actual electric guitar could be use as your prop. Nelydia Senrose the Collection brand ambassador took the stage and congratulate all winners (I'm so jealous they won haha).

I looked over Prada, Coach, Tom Ford and then fell in love with Burberry. It was simple, stylish and just so Burberry (I love Burberry!). Perfect simple frame to own for my eye wear collection.
